Initially, I was very apprehensive about using the auction process in the setting of a contested estate matter; however, once I better understood the auction method and reviewed your past work I believed I finally had the right people for a challenging job.
My responsibility as an officer of the court and as a fiduciary for the family of a valued client made the use of the auction process a guarded decision, but with hindsight, it was the best thing I could have done for this Estate. I am happy I did it, and not only was the financial result greater than I anticipated; it was more than I thought possible. In fact, I had accepted a previous offer to sell this property for a million dollars less than the result produced by your auction. Needless to say, that contract did not go to closing, and I am now so glad it didn't.
Thanks again Lamar and thanks again to Fisher Auction for being astute and knowledgeable business people, for being gracious with a difficult client, namely me, and for being a good friend during a difficult time.
