Lamar P. Fisher, CAI, AARE, President / CEO
Lamar P. Fisher is a fourth generation resident of Pompano Beach, Broward County, Florida. He holds a degree from Palm Beach Community College; is a graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI); and is an Accredited Auctioneer in Real Estate (AARE), the highest designation awarded by the Auction Marketing Institute.
Fisher represents the third generation of executive leadership for the Fisher Auction Company, as its President and CEO. For 30 years, he has devoted his entire career life to all aspects of the auction industry, and remains exclusively committed to the concept of Accelerated Marketing for real estate.
He is responsible for directing the daily activities of his company, which include every phase of development, from proposal writing and making presentations, conducting auction events, and closing the transactions.
Fisher Auction Company, is recognized internationally for its timely disposition of non-performing assets / notes, and the ability to convert them to cash. In the wake of the savings and loan crisis, the United States Congress passed federal legislation known as The Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act of 1989 (FIRREA), which established the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) to close hundreds of insolvent thrift institutions and liquidate their holdings. Lamar and Fisher Auction Co., Inc. were among a very select few commissioned to auction those assets / notes, and were chosen specifically to conduct the feature event in Washington, D.C.
Fisher was engaged by the City of North Port, Sarasota County, Florida to conduct an on-line only auction for over 2,000 land parcels. This initiative set an unsurpassed record for the largest real estate auction ever conducted on the internet for a single event.
With Fisher’s proven leadership, professionalism and dedication to the Auction Industry, he continues to lead Fisher Auction Company in being one of the top firms in the country serving Lenders, Receivers, Developers, Governmental Agencies, Trust Companies, Private and Public Equity Firms and REITS.
Fisher is the current Mayor for the City of Pompano Beach; Past Distinguished Governor for the State of Florida in Kiwanis and Founder of the International K-Kids Clubs; and has been the recipient of innumerable awards for his humanitarian service.
Louis “Benny” Fisher
Mr. Fisher is the Founder and Chairman of the Board for Fisher Auction Company, the firm he established in 1972. His son, Lamar, serves as President / Chief Executive Officer.
After thirty years of service, he remains involved as a Consultant. As Chairman, he continues to represent Fisher as “The Standard of Excellence” in the arena of Accelerated Marketing as being the preferred method for real property investment sales. Because of his unparalleled success, he is considered an Industry authority.
Mr. Fisher, a Native Floridian, was educated at the University of Miami, where he was conferred a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in 1961. Subsequently, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate for his benevolence with so many Humanitarian causes.
Vocationally, Mr. Fisher was a member of the 1972 graduating class at Reisch Auction College; and a graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute in 1981. Fraternally, Mr. Fisher has served as Board Member, Vice-President, and President of the Florida Auctioneers Association; Director of the National Auctioneers Association; and is a Lifetime Member of the Auctioneers Association of North Carolina.
Mr. Fisher’s Accolades for leadership include Florida State Bid Calling Champion twice (1980 and 1985); World Champion of Champions (2000); and was recognized to receive its First ever Businessman of the Year Award from the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce in 1990.
In 1995, Mr. Fisher was presented the “Lewis C. Dell” award by his fellow members of the Florida Auctioneers Association. The culmination of his career came in 2004 at the Annual Conference and Show for the National Auctioneers Association held in Madison, Wisconsin where he was inducted into the Auctioneers “Hall of Fame” by 7,000 of his colleagues and peers. In 43 years of history, less than 100 professionals have been chosen for this prestigious and coveted honor.
Barbara Fisher, MRA, CREA, PREA
Ms. Fisher is a remarkably experienced appraiser, consultant, lecturer and author. She holds numerous certifications and is widely acclaimed within the real estate / personal property appraisal industry.
In addition to these extraordinary roles, Ms. Fisher also assists at most of our auctions and is a favorite auction bid assistant.

Francis D. Santos
Mr. Santos serves as Executive Vice President of Fisher Auction Company. He joined Fisher Auction over 14 years ago assuming responsibilities that include Project Management, Auction Coordination, Due Diligence Research, Personal Property Appraising, and Live Auction Assistance.
He has been instrumental in numerous successful property auctions for some of our major clients, including our auction held for the City of Northport, Florida – the single largest Real Estate Auction conducted online via the Internet selling more than 2000 properties for $60,000.000. He is a very active member in the National Auctioneer’s Association, Florida Auctioneer’s Association, Auction Marketing Institute, and an associate member in the Bankruptcy Bar Association, Southern District of Florida.
He currently holds a Florida Real Estate Associate Broker License, Graduate Personal Property Appraiser Designation from Auction Marketing Institute, and membership in the Industrial Association of Dade County. Mr. Santos received his Real Estate Broker’s License from Gold Coast School of Real Estate, Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Graduate Personal Property Designation from the Auction Marketing Institute, Overland Park, Kansas.
Mr. Santos is an active fisherman and past President of the Sportfishermen of Broward, Inc. as well as being a dedicated sports enthusiast and fan.
Neil Saffer, AARE
Leading our Business Development is Mr. Neil Saffer, CAI, AARE, BAS. He specializes in the time defined sale of real property by competitive bid, and has conducted over 600 auctions in South Florida since 1990. He excels at educating sellers, buyers, real estate professionals, institutions, and estates/trusts on the Accelerated Method of Marketing.
Mr. Saffer has a degree in economics and business administration from the State University of New York at Albany. In addition he is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker, and a designated Accredited Auctioneer Real Estate (A.A.R.E.) from the Auction Marketing Institute. Neil Graduated from The National Auction Training Center in 1989 and has been a licensed Florida Auctioneer since 1990.
Mr. Saffer strongly believes in giving back to the community. He has coached youth sports for over two decades and is the past President of both The Rotary Fund of Boca Raton and the Rotary Club of Boca Raton. Neil received the Rotarian of the year award in 2004, as well as the special service award in 2008, and the service above self award in 2009. He has served on the board of directors of the American Cancer Society, the Nicholas R. Chiera Foundation, the Spanish River High School PTSA, and the Gold Coast British Sports Car Club.

André LaBauve
Mr. LaBauve is the Chief Financial Officer of Fisher Auction Company, having joined the firm in 1992. He has been in the Auction industry for over 19 years and specializes in the accounting, closing coordination and reporting of Auction Sales.
Mr. LaBauve has been instrumental in the coordination and closing of over 10,000 properties. He has devised and managed a system to enable the closing of our accelerating marketing properties to run as seamlessly as possible for Sellers, Buyers and Brokers. He is on premises and in charge of our closing room the day of the event. In addition, he coordinates all internet auction closings. Mr. LaBauve provides detailed sales, expenditure and closing reports to our clients and oversees our budget allocations. In addition to closing coordination, Mr. LaBauve oversees all company expenses, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to working in the auction industry, Mr. LaBauve was employed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as an Account Officer in the Real Estate Department. He was instrumental in the first FDIC Real Estate Auction held in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Mr. LaBauve was born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1977 from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Mr. LaBauve is an integral part of our Fisher Auction Team.
Midge Navarro
Ms. Navarro has worked with Fisher Auction Company for well over a dozen years in several invaluable capacities. Ms. Navarro has held positions as Executive Assistant to the Chairman, the President and also the CEO of Fisher Auction Company, working closely in strategic planning for our accelerated marketing presence. Her auction and marketing expertise led naturally to her current position of Director of Marketing. She has been instrumental in the launching of our redesigned web site and revamped marketing materials.
Ms. Navarro has a keen insight on targeting the needed demographic clientele for our accelerated marketing programs, with a proven track record of generating interest in the objective market. Her administration of our marketing program has made us a front runner in the accelerated marketing industry.
In addition, Ms. Navarro oversees our internet auctions and coordinates, within our live events, any real-time auction synchronization requirements. Ms. Navarro works within our team to bring focus and make every event a priority.
Thomas L. Newman, Esq.
Mr. Newman is the Corporate Attorney for Fisher Auction Company. He specializes in real estate law and complex real estate transactions /closings. Mr. Newman has been an attorney for 38 years and has an AV rating with Martindale Hubbell. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in Economics in 1966 and received his JD with honors from the University of Miami in 1969 and an LLM in Taxation in 1976.
He was admitted to the Florida Bar; American Bar Association in 1970. Mr. Newman has been the Corporate Attorney for Fisher Auction Company for over 30 years.
Thomas Curran
Thomas (Tom) Curran has been a part of Fisher Auction Company for over 25 years and has filled a variety of roles within the auction business. He is an Associate Auctioneer and has represented Fisher in many municipal, heavy equipment and charity auctions.
He graduated from the Mendenhall Auction School in High Point, North Carolina in 1985 and holds an Associates of Science degree from Broward Collage.
He settled in in Pompano Beach in 1964 since moving here from Essex Maryland and is very involved in his church and community.
Tom is very active in a variety of charities and he has helped raise millions for local and national charities via auction fundraisers. A sampling of some of the organizations he has worked with is the following; St Jude’s, Florida Panthers Hockey Team, Hospice By the Sea, Arts and Business of Miami, Cystic Fibroses, Food For the Poor, Daily Bread Food Bank among many others.
Martha Rock
Martha Rock has been an active real estate broker and professional auctioneer since 1991. In 2009, Martha joined the Fisher Auction Company Team as a Florida Licensed Real Estate Broker Associate and Auctioneer.

She has practiced her chosen profession in three states, successfully working with attorneys, accountants, asset managers, estate executors, and lenders. Martha has always focused her special talents on the accelerated method of marketing in the area of auctions for agricultural, timber, recreational land tracts, residential developments, and commercial assets.
Andrew Burr
Mr. Burr joins Fisher Auction Company after successfully leading the development of Keller William’s Commercial National Auction Team. Andrew has over 20 years experience in building ground-up strategic business teams for multiple ventures. As a member of the Armed Forces Joint Command, Andrew served on the personal staff of Secretary of Defense, William Perry, while he was in office at the Pentagon. He also worked as a corporate executive within flagship companies such as Marriott and Sodexho prior to opening his own consulting firm in 2000.
His responsibilities include sales presentations, due diligence, live auction assistance, banking / lender liaison and acquisition development.
Burr is involved in many business and community organizations and is active in the Palms West Chamber of Commerce, conducting multiple events throughout the year. He was a participant in the Palm Beach Leadership Academy. Burr is an active Realtor in the State of Florida and has participated in over 40 million dollars of Accelerated Marketing sales.
With the addition of Mr. Burr to our team we expect to aggressively build our acquisitions program while continuing to lead the way in the Real Estate Auction market.
